Horror movies have always been the favorite genre of a lot of movie aficionados around the globe. Unfortunately horror movies don’t receive the admiration from movie critics that some other genres receive. It is extremely hard to come up with a brilliant and frightening horror film. The listing of horror movies that are actually a bit of good is not long. Slasher motion pictures attempted to substitute horror flicks about 20 years ago but those are not true horror flicks. On any list of horror movies that do not suck you will see several really frightening motion pictures. Here is my list of horror flicks that are worthy of watching.

“Rosemary’s Baby” might be a bit out dated today and may certainly not give you the kind of chills it did when it first came out, however it is still one of the excellent atmospheric films ever made and still can creep you out. “Psycho” may have been the first slasher movie but it is an absolute scary movie and has all the old trademarks of superb horror movies plus a dangerous and corny contemporary setting that everyone who’s ever spent the nights at a roadside motel can verify.

“The Exorcist” obviously remains at the top on anyone’s list of horror films that don’t suck. If you have never seen it, then you need to drop anything and everything you’re working on and go purchase it right now. Put it on your huge flat tv screen this evening and see it with another person that has never seen it. It’s still the most unsettling and deeply frightening film ever made by a longshot and will certainly keep you awake for many evenings to come. This particular movie is certainly not for young children and not for the faint of heart. It’s very brutal and extremely unsettling.

“The Blair Witch Project” was probably the greatest grossing movie in history in any genre because it cost so little to produce and yet produced billions of dollars. Making use of handheld shaky cameras the movie is a mock documentary about a group of students shooting a documentary on the well-known “Blair Witch” in the Maryland forest. The three students go missing deep in the forest and experience some really horrifying things out there. Without spoiling it you should stick with this one till the very end.

2009′s Blair Witch Project was a little indie film called “Paranormal Activity” and is about a suburban couple that find their San Diego abode haunted by an evil satanic force (are there some other kinds?) and they once again use handheld cameras and night vision cameras to movie the ghostly situations. This is a movie that starts little by little but develops to a shocking final act. This movie joins our listing of horror films that do not suck because it will absolutely scare you. Lots of the directors of these films have gone on to greater glory outside the independent horror arena. Directors such as Ethan and Joel Coen (The Big Lebowski) as well as Sam Raimi (Spiderman) have began in the independent horror circuit only to find themselves with big Hollywood careers.

There are so many sites offering various forms of advice on how to use Green Screen Backgrounds but a majority of of them are not very detailed or specific. Make sure you consider my very own reviews and articles on everything you should learn about Green Screen before following other advice.
