Sharon asks…
anyone ever work from ARISE work at home company?
Arise Virtual Solutions Inc is a company my mom sent me who offers customer service jobs (work at home). I can’t find any reviews online about them but they seem ok.
Has anyone had any experience with them?
Thanks

Arise is a good legit company to work for. You can get more information about them at http://www.wahm.com message boards. Do a search on the boards as there has been a lot of threads about them. If I remember correctly they require that you incorporate to work for them. There are many other virtual call center companies out there. A good list can be found at http://workathomedesk.com/directory/virtual-call-centre-jobs.htm
I have personally worked for West At Home and they are and excellent company to work for. I made a good paycheck with them and liked the flexibility that their scheduling offered. I hope this helps.

Daniel asks…
What kinda laptop processor is best for running Arise.com work at home business applications?
I’m looking into purchasing a new laptop for business use. I’m leaning towards acer they have better prices which is a concern, so for 550$ -600$ what do you think is a reliable dependable and has decent processing system?

Some Discussions on Working Through Aries, that I found on the internet.
The couple of discussions I ran across on the internet suggest that for $200+ up front payments, training and waiting end up with insufficient support call jobs, one person indicted business is not as good as it was some years ago and that they have too large a worker pool. One might hae made it if they were a more aggresive sale person.
Anyway, looks like any PC will do the job, get an eternal mouse if you use a laptop for more than 5 minutes at a time. Best of luck…

Ruth asks…
Does anyone work for Arise, the work at home company?
I am a professional with a college degree who has taken time off to be at home with my children. The way the world is today, I would prefer to stay at home and know what my kids are doing. They are 4 and 3. My background is in sales and marketing for large insurance companies and I work in Hartford CT. i was wondering if anyone is currently working for Arise or has ever heard of them? Are they legit? I understand it would cost me 300-500$ investment to start? Is this worth it. If you are a recruiter from Arise, please do not respond. I want only REAL people who actually work AT HOME to respond. I greatly appreciate it!

Neil Walker answers:
You won’t be the first person to be scammed.
Google the company name followed by the word scam.
You have a college degree – why would you think any job online is legit?
You should know better.
