Have you considered being a personal shopper? You can run errands for people who are otherwise too busy with work, etc. Pick up gifts or groceries, dry cleaning, you name it. Or maybe running elderly persons to their doctor’s appointments? Lots you can do and not have to be one of those home-based party sales people. If that is something you are interested in though, try something that you believe in yourself and know you can sell (it’s a tough business – I tried doing Gold Canyon Candles and Tupperware before, it was ok for a bit but after a while, you may run out of steam & customers…)

What is a good way for a Stay at Home Mom to earn extra cash?
I just turned 24 and I am a stay at home mom to 2 girls 3 and 1 1/2. I don’t drive and my boyfriend (kids father) works during the nights (5pm – 3am). I’ve tried the survey things but that doesn’t pay much and not even sure if I will get a check every time. Any ideas on what I could do to earn some money at home? Something other then Avon because I already know about that one.. I just want different ideas.

To the person who said to get married and support my husband to help him get a better job; he doesn’t need a better job. He gets paid over $22/hr. I need something to do while I am at home and making a little cash for myself would be perfect.

Home interiors.
Pampered Chef. My aunt does this one and makes some extra spending money.
Avon like you mentioned. Not sure if you know but you can now sell Avon on line. My cousin does this one and sells hers to her on-line contacts.
Tupperware.
You could also become a licensed babysitter.
You can also donate plasma. You can make up to like $250.00 a month doing it.
Not sure what time of housing you live in, but my dad goes to Auctions and gets run down wood furniture, sands it down, stains , and clear coats it and then puts in on Craiglist. Makes about $20.00 profit per item. He has also taken outside metal furniture and done basically the same thing.

I am a stay at home mom and am looking to earn a little extra cash. Anyone know of any jobs that are good for my situation?

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do.
In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online

Does anyone know firsthand if websites like this are legitimate? It seems like it is too easy and you have to pay $39 to get started with it. Has anyone tried this or know someone who has? Is this a scam? I am trying to find work I can do from home…I am a stay at home Mom.

I’ve tried lots of different things to earn money from home. None of them were scams, but the majority of them didn’t earn the kind of money I would have liked to be earning. Eventually, I found a home based business that didn’t cost money to get started with. It’s been the best thing for my family and I love what I’m doing now.
