The world of Football has been turned upside down and inside out! The New York Football Giants are heading once again to the Superbowl to combat with a new arch nemesis, the New England Patriots! With this post season being a huge achievement for big blue, their social media management and online marketing have been thru the roof in a fight for the beloved Lombardi Trophy!

Bring the Lombardi Trophy home boys, New York is where it belongs! With this extremely well managed post season behind us, and Eli taking a trip to big brothers home city, Indianapolis, to battle non other than Tom Brady, Peyton’s arch nemesis as well. Since 2001, it’s been Peyton mostly who’s had the totals, but it’s been Brady who’s won the rings and beaten Peyton at his own game. The thing is, this season, Peyton has been out and a big spot light and question mark hung over Eli Manning’s head.

Man oh man has little brother affirmed to the world that big brothers shadow is silly. The Giants season had rested completely upon his shoulders, with all of the injuries that had plagued both the offense and defense, Eli Manning stood like a beacon of hope in the eyes of both players, and fans alike, and he stood tall and true. With the help of wide receivers and tight ends such as Victor Cruz (an Instant fan favorite, especially with his copyrighted Salsa dance) Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham, Bear Pascoe, Jake Ballard, and Travis Beckum, and the return of Ahmad Bradshaw, and Brandon Jacobs doing what he does best, it’s really no surprise.

There are still noted Giants injuries headed into the Superbowl, for example defensive backs Terrell Thomas, and Justin Tryon, two key starters that have been out all season. Jonathan Goff has also been out all season, as well as Clint Sintim at line backer. As well the loss of tackle Will Beaty has been hard to consume, but David Diehl and Kareem McKenzie have done a great job so far at safeguarding their Quarterback Eli Manning. As well another issue is concerning center David Baas, and his injury concerns and whether or not guard Kevin Boothe will be able to take his place if needed during the Superbowl.

Why social media? Why not implore the Atlanta Falcons. They have not won a playoff game since their Superbowl run in 1998. What else is rather amazing to the world of sports, and Football, is that every team so far to beat them in the playoffs has gone on to play in the Superbowl. From the Eagles in 2004, to the Cardinals in 2009 and the Packers just last year. This is not a rumor, or a strange correlation, but a fact. Maybe the Falcons should contact a social media agency to change the way the team looks right now.

Not since the Falcons drafted Michael Vick has the team ever won a playoff game. Hell the last time they won Jamal Anderson was showing off the dirty bird in the end zone after every touchdown he ran for. Of course what the Falcons didn’t adjust for was John Elway and the Broncos coming to slaughter them and roast Falcon meat after the Superbowl. That was one of the most fiery Superbowl’s in recent memory as well, as John Elway made mince meat out of the Falcons defense.

Let’s take a look at what arose to the Falcons this weekend at the Meadowlands, can’t we? Matt Ryan, who has all the facts, and yardage to acknowledge himself amongst the NFL Elite Quarterbacks has never won a playoff game. Give the guy credit, him along with Julio Jones did some damage to the Giants secondary, but came up short. No pun intended for Mr. Jones.

Mr. Turner was pretty much non-existent during the game. The fabled running back who usually runs for over 100 yards easy was held by the Giants defense to just 41 yards. As well veteran wide receiver Rod White also decided not to show up for the game, receiving all of 7 catches from Ryan for a total of 64 yards, and was harassed by Giants CB Corey Webster, who’s making a case for his elite status amongst CB’s in the league right now. Actually the only player who came to play during the game was a rookie, Julio Jones was the only explosive offensive weapon the Falcons had. But the rookie wasn’t good enough.

The Falcons sure could use some social media agency help to make themselves look better than they sincerely are, and to get their fans started up for next season. It’s going to be tough, but they can still turn their image around as being playoff busts come next season if they get their weapons to actually show up to play. The defeat of the Falcons is a good omen for the Giants. Next stop, Green Bay!
